How much is a set-piece maestro worth? James Ward-Prowse has reportedly drawn interest from West Ham in addition to Manchester City, Manchester United, and Tottenham. Southampton is using every muscle in their body to fend off these pursuers. Saints’ response has been to price Ward-Prowse at £75 million and see if anyone still wants to bite.

The Daily Star reports that a number of Chelsea stars want Thomas Tuchel to chase the Everton playmaker as he restructures his club under their gleaming new corporate ownership. Richarlison is undoubtedly keeping the rumor mill churning this summer. It claims that his “gamesmanship and never-say-die mentality” are just what his prospective teammates need. Nice is interested in loaning out their goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, according to other Blues news.

Steven Bergwijn of Tottenham wants to return to the Eredivisie, and Ajax is eager to do so. Spurs want at least £25 million for the winger, but the Dutch champions may be persistent because they have some extra cash after selling Sébastien Haller to Borussia Dortmund. Bergwijn, on the other hand, may be tempted since he wants regular football in the lead-up to the World Cup.

Marco Asensio of Real Madrid has been linked to both Milan and Liverpool, but the Daily Mail claims the offensive midfielder would prefer to join the Serie A winners. Asensio, who is entering the final year of his contract at the Bernabéu, is a target for Jürgen Klopp, but the player is unsure of how much regular action he would receive at Anfield.

Malcolm Ebiowei, a promising young man, has always been likely to be rescued from the wreckage of Derby, and Crystal Palace now seems to be his most likely destination. Several Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, have expressed interest in the 18-year-old winger, who scored eight goals in 29 Championship appearances for the club that was demoted last season. However, the most recent reports indicate that Patrick Vieira will bring him to Selhurst Park.

Goal says that Paris Saint-Germain has hinted it is open to sell Neymar if they receive what they deem to be a reasonable offer, whatever that may be given how much they paid for him. This is at the opposite end of football’s outrageous financial spectrum. The Brazilian, though, is content with his success in his home country and wants to remain.

The next Brazilian is Raphina, who Leeds is fighting tooth and nail to keep out of the hands of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham. Cody Gakpo from PSV might take his position if they do lose him, though. According to Foot Mercato, Jesse Marsch is considering a bid for the 23-year-old winger who represents the Netherlands internationally.

The Fiver: subscribe to receive daily football.

With Sevilla preparing a £7 million bid for the attacker, who is nearing the final year of his contract at Ibrox, Alfredo Morelos’ five-year stay with Rangers may be coming to an end. El Chiringuito claims that although Rangers are expected to increase the asking price, the Colombian is still enticed by the notion.

As they look to replace Yves Bissouma, Brighton is also keeping an eye on Marshall Munetsi of Zimbabwe’s Marshall Munetsi and Reims.
