The Gunners are one of three Premier League clubs yet to reveal a major first-team addition, however they did disclose the signing of Marquinhos, an unknown teenager.
Arsenal is being associated with a number of high-profile talents who would surely improve the club’s prospects, as is the case with every transfer window.
Youri Tielemans of Leicester City and Gabriel Jesus of Manchester City have both been linked with a move to the Emirates, but nothing has come to fruition as of yet. As a result, new names are emerging as potential replacements.
Arsenal’s only announced new signing to far is promising Sao Paulo player Marquinhos, as the club’s Brazilian contingent continues to increase, owing in part to the efforts of Brazilian technical director Edu Gaspar.
The newest Arsenal rumours and hearsay have been examined by Mirror Football in order to provide a more accurate picture of how the transfer window will unfold.
Before joining Manchester United, Robert Lewandowski was advised to join Arsenal.
The Bayern Munich wonder has been told that joining Manchester United would be a mistake and that he should join Mikel Arteta’s side in North London sooner rather than later.
Since he made his desire to leave Germany obvious, almost every European super-club has been linked with a move for the Poland international, including the Red Devils.
Former Premier League winner Chris Sutton, on the other hand, believes Lewandowski should sign with every other big-six club before committing to United.

“I noticed that Lewandowski has been mentioned. He will join Manchester United if he does not join Barcelona. But why is that? Why would he want to join Manchester United in the first place? There are bigger and better options out there,” Sutton told BBC Radio 5 Live.
” Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs, at this moment in time and Arsenal are a better option, at this moment in time than Manchester United. One club seems to be stable under Arteta, I am not saying Arteta has torn up too many trees, but they are in a better position and they are better placed than Manchester United.”
Another Real Madrid midfielder is on the lookout.
Just a year after signing Martin Odegaard on a permanent deal, Arteta is interested in prying another midfielder away from the Santiago Bernabeu.
Marco Asensio has just one year left on his current contract in the Spanish capital and has actually been offered an extension by the Los Blancos hierarchy.
However, the attacking midfielder is holding out for more than the La Liga titans are clearly willing to pay to keep him and as a result a number of other clubs have started to linger.

It has been reported that Asensio has until June 20 to inform Real Madrid of his intentions as they refuse to budge on their latest offer. The likelihood of him being available on a free next term is growing, but the club would sooner just cut ties and cash in this summer.
Arsenal could place themselves at the front of the lengthy queue of suitors if they offer Real Madrid a decent fee for Asensio this summer rather than wait for his contract to expire in 12 months.
Arsenal told the “only way” to sign Porto star

Arsenal have been informed that there is only one way in which they can land the signature of FC Porto midfielder Vitinha by the club’s president.
Both Arsenal and United are reportedly interested in the young Portuguese star, with both teams desperate to add another defensive midfielder into the mix before the start of the new season.
President Pinto da Costa has confirmed that a bid has been lodged by an unnamed club, but it did not meet the release clause inserted into Vitinha’s Porto contract and was therefore swiftly rejected.
He told reporters: “There was a concrete offer, of considerable value, for Vitinha that we did not accept. And we referred them to the release clause, which is only way to take our player.”
The former Wolves loanee is thought to be valued at £35m and still has two years left to run on the current contract tying him to Estadio do Dragao.
