Girona set to launch triple raid on Real Madrid: Defensa Central

La Liga’s newcomers Girona are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid trio Miguel Gutierrez, Sergio Arribas, and Antonio Blanco. Girona will attempt a triple raid on Real Madrid before the summer transfer window closes, according to Spanish outlet Defensa Central. Spanish trio Miguel Gutierrez, Sergio Arribas, and Antonio Blanco have emerged as potential targets for La Liga newcomers this month. Miguel Gutierrez, Sergio Arribas, and Antonio Blanco are three of the most promising young players to have emerged from Real Madrid’s renowned La Fabrica academy in recent years. Gutierrez has seen the most action for Los Blancos’ first team, but he shone for Real Madrid Castilla last season, scoring twice and assisting eight times in 16 appearances. Arribas also had a successful season with Real Madrid’s reserve team, finishing the season as the team’s top scorer with 15 goals. Meanwhile, Blanco has only made six appearances for Real Madrid’s first team since making his debut a couple of years ago. However, none of the three Spanish prospects appear to have a bright future with Real Madrid in the 2022/23 season, with Carlo Ancelotti leading a loaded squad. As a result, they will benefit from leaving the Santiago Bernabeu to continue their progress, possibly on season-long loan deals. Girona will keep half of Gutierrez’s rights, while Real Madrid will keep the other half. Similarly, Blanco and Arribas could relocate to Estadi Montilivi this summer. Arribas has piqued the interest of several La Liga clubs, including Girona, and he appears to be ready to make an impact in the first team. Meanwhile, Blanco is 22 years old, and it is past time for him to establish himself as a regular at the highest level of professional club football. According to Defensa Central, Gutierrez will most likely be the first Real Madrid prospect to join Girona, but Arribas and Blanco should follow suit soon after. With the trio expected to reunite at Estadi Montilivi, it will be interesting to see if they begin their careers there.
