While Raheem Sterling wants to know his destiny as soon as possible and the Blues are reportedly interested in AC Milan’s “diamond,” Manchester City’s pursuit of Kalvin Phillips has changed.
In order to complement their summer acquisitions of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez, Manchester City is stepping up their efforts to sign Kalvin Phillips from Leeds.
Several of their stars are also showing interest in them, and Arsenal is growing more optimistic that they may convince Gabriel Jesus to leave the Etihad for them. Raheem Sterling, an English attacker who has one year left on his contract with Manchester City and is open to moving in order to obtain more playing time, is also a target for Chelsea.
The most recent City transfer round-up, which includes information on a potential Riyad Mahrez successor, can be found on Mirror Sport.
Sterling sets a deadline.
Raheem Sterling allegedly wants to have his future decided before he starts his preseason workouts, according to The Mail Online. The English forward, who is sought after by Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Barcelona and wants more playing time, is willing to leave Manchester City.
While on vacation in Jamaica, Sterling, 27, who has one year left on his City contract, would like to start preseason training with his future arranged.
Sterling would be a statement signing for Chelsea’s new management, and they are willing to pay City’s asking price to lure him to Stamford Bridge.

Mahrez can be replaced by a “diamond” for £127.5m.
With only one year remaining on his contract and at the age of 31, Riyad Mahrez’s future at Manchester City is in doubt. According to footballfancast, the Blues may opt to replace him with AC Milan winger Rafael Leao.
Leao has been a superstar for Milan, contributing eight assists and 11 goals to their scudetto-winning campaign last year.
The Portuguese winger has been dubbed a “diamond” by Milan veteran Paolo Maldini, and the Serie A champions have added a massive £127.5 million buy-out provision to his contract.
Leao is a fantastic age at 23, and it just seems a matter of time before the Premier League entices him to join.
Phillips will reject West Ham and Villa.
Aston Villa and West Ham are allegedly attempting to sabotage Manchester City’s pursuit of Kalvin Phillips, according to a report from Football Insider carried by Football365.
West Ham claims their £50 million deal for the Leeds midfielder was turned down in January, while Villa’s £26 million proposal for the player was unsuccessful in 2019.
The England international who will leave Elland Road this summer is reportedly still a target for both clubs.
According to the report, Phillips likes City and will wait for a £50 million transfer to the league leaders.
