Home United Manchester Man United are’ready to make an offer’ for a defender, as the goalkeeper responds to Ten Hag’s interest.

Manchester United are preparing a bid for Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries, who is reportedly one of Erik ten Hag’s top summer targets.
The Red Devils have already signed Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, and Lisandro Martinez this summer, but they plan to continue spending with the window still open.
Man United have reached an agreement with Barcelona to sign Frenkie de Jong, but there are still obstacles to overcome before he can become a United player, and a number of fringe players will depart this summer.

The new number is 30. 27: Why are Premier League players getting older?

One of those could be Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who was benched near the end of last season in favor of Diogo Dalot, with Ten Hag rumored to want to bring in another right-back this summer.
And the new man could be Inter Milan’s Dumfries, who joined the Serie A giants from PSV Eindhoven last summer, with Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Sport Witness) reporting that Manchester United are’ready to make an offer’ for the Netherlands international.
Last season, the 26-year-old scored five goals and provided four assists in 33 Serie A appearances, though he only started 21 of them.
Ten Hag is said to ‘dote on’ him as the Rotterdam-born wing-back brings the ‘timing and physicality’ he wants to bring to Man Utd.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Inter may be willing to sell Dumfries for €40 million if they can keep Paris Saint-Germain target Milan Skriniar.
Inter Milan, according to the report, would ‘certainly not object’ to a €40 million offer for the right-back.
Manchester United are also looking for a new goalkeeper after loaning Dean Henderson to Nottingham Forest, and Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili has been linked.
When asked about his future, Mamardashvili told Plaza Deportiva, “I have a 2+1 contract with Valencia and I’m happy.” I enjoy Valencia as a city and its people.
When asked about reported interest from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, Mamardashvili responded, “I see it, but the first thing is Valencia.” “We’ll see then.” It is critical for me to be happy, and I am; I like the team, and I like the city.”
