The 33-year-old is reportedly set to join French club Marseille after a turbulent time in Italy, where he scored just 16 league goals in three seasons at AC Milan.
He will join a group of ex-Arsenal outcasts at his new Ligue 1 club, with Matteo Guendouzi, Sead Kolasinac, and Nuno Tavares all currently based in France. Sanchez is eager to resurrect his career after a high-profile move to Manchester United in 2018 ended in disaster, with the forward scoring just five goals in 45 appearances under then-manager Jose Mourinho. He then helped end Juventus’ Serie A domination as Inter Milan lifted their first league title in 10 years along with winning the the Coppa Italia, and the Supercoppa Italiana.
