Neymar’s reaction to being substituted in PSG’s Ligue 1 win over Lyon

PSG manager Christophe Galtier has defended Neymar Jr following his reaction to being substituted during their Ligue 1 match against Lyon.
PSG maintained their unbeaten start to the 22/23 season with a 1-0 win over Lyon in the French top flight.
Lionel Messi scored five minutes into the game to give PSG a 3-0 lead. Neymar Jr. set up the Argentine for PSG’s lone goal of the game. Messi passed the ball to Neymar, who returned it to the Argentine, who scored with a first-time shot.
Neymar did not play for PSG until the very end, with manager Galtier opting to replace the 30-year-old late in the game.

“In these matches, the great players have to stand out, like Ney and Messi tonight, who were very good,” Galtier said. Neymar has put in a lot of effort for the team. He came out a little flushed and angry, in my opinion, but that’s normal. He has impeccable manners.”
Meanwhile, PSG’s Neymar has had a fantastic start to the 22/23 season. He had a disappointing season at PSG in the 21/22 season.

However, Neymar has returned to form this season, with the Brazilian starring for PSG in several of their games so far.
He has made 11 appearances for PSG this season and has scored 11 goals, averaging one goal per game. Neymar began his season with a bang, scoring two goals in PSG’s 4-0 victory over Nantes in the Trophee des Champions final.

Neymar has also provided eight assists this season, which is an impressive total. Seven of his assists came in Ligue 1, the most recent of which went to Messi in the win over Lyon.
