According to rumours, Norwich City is considering a loan agreement for Chelsea midfielder Tino Anjorin.
The Canaries have expressed interest in the 20-year-old, according to Football London’s top Chelsea writer Adam Newson, although they face competition from Championship rivals Coventry, Huddersfield, and QPR as well as clubs on the continent.

Strengthening their midfield ranks was City’s top objective pre to the transfer season, and it’s believed they’re eager to use the temporary transfer market in any other moves they make this summer.
However, sporting director Stuart Webber has already signed Isaac Hayden and, more recently, Gabriel Sara, who plays in a position similar to Anjorin’s, as two midfielders ahead of the 2022–23 season.
Despite his youth, the England youth international has already played for three senior clubs, appearing in 22 games last season while on loan at Lokomotiv Moscow and Huddersfield after making five appearances for the Blues.
Being just 17 years old when he made his Chelsea debut in 2019, he has been highly regarded for a while. In seven Championship games for the Terriers in 2021–2022, he scored just once.
Aaron Mooy, a former midfielder for Brighton and Huddersfield, is one player whose return to Carrow Road appears extremely doubtful.
Following the expiration of his contract with Chinese Super League team Shanghai Port, the attacking midfielder had been linked with a move to NR1. According to reports, Norwich was one of several lower-league clubs vying for Mooy’s services, but the Australian is almost certain to sign with Celtic. That suggests that he will probably play against City this weekend, when Dean Smith’s team concludes its preseason practice with a pair of matches against Hibernian and the Scottish champions. The Welshman signed the 31-year-old on an initial loan from Manchester City at the John Smith’s stadium, where they had previously collaborated.
After Webber had gone for Norfolk, the Yorkshire club made that arrangement official before selling him to the Seagulls in 2020. He appeared in 32 games in total on the south coast, scoring twice.
