Lionel Messi will lead Argentina to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, and the tournament’s CEO Nasser Al-Khalter has revealed the fastest-selling tickets ahead of the event.

Argentina appears to be the key draw for the upcoming winter extravaganza later this year.
New information about the ticket sales for individual World Cup matches was released on Friday, August 26.
The most prestigious international football competition in history will of course begin in November 20, 2022, when 32 nations from around the world converge in Qatar to compete for the world championship title.
Since the formal announcement of the showpiece’s group stage draw in April, there has been intense demand for tickets.
Nasser Al-Khater, the competition’s CEO, has therefore moved to give a current account of the efforts made by fans throughout the world to see their country line up in Qatar in three months. And the numbers have proven to be really notable.
This is because one nation will be represented in the two fixtures that are now in high demand. The team which is under discussion is Argentina’s national team.
The Albiceleste, who are currently on an incredible unbeaten run and are the current South American champions, are ready to travel to Qatar with high spirits in Lionel Scaloni’s camp.
It is not difficult to understand why Argentina’s group stage matches against Mexico and Saudi Arabia are the current frontrunners when it comes to ticket sales for the 2022 World Cup.
Apart from the fact that one of the draws involved a country that is very close to the host country, the matches are likely a final opportunity to see Lionel Messi perform at a major international tournament.

Tickets for two games involving Lionel Messi’s Argentina have reportedly been the biggest draws for viewers at this year’s World Cup in Qatar, according to the top tournament organizer.
Nasser Al-Khater, CEO of the Qatar organizing committee, told the QNA official news agency late on Wednesday that Argentina’s first-round group games against Mexico on November 26 and Saudi Arabia on November 22 had the “most sought” ticket requests.

Although the authorities did not release figures, the match between Argentina and Mexico was totally sold out in the first round of online sales at the beginning of the year.

According to Fifa, 2.45 million tickets have been sold for the inaugural World Cup to be staged in an Arab nation, which Al-Khater promised will be “a beautiful carnival.”
Of the 3.2 million tickets available, more than one million are set aside for sponsors and Fifa partners.
The top countries for economic growth, in addition to Qatar, are the United States, England, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, France, Brazil, Germany, Argentina, and Mexico.

Why are people buying these tickets?
People are rushing for these tickets because they want to see Lionel Messi in the World Cup. Hence, Argentina vs. Mexico and Argentina vs. Saudi Arabia games later this year are currently the sold-out games of the World Cup.

Despite being supported by his teammates, Lionel Messi only managed to win the Copa America last year after many struggles and failures.
While supporters are thrilled to watch their great hero on the grandest platform for the National Team, detractors are also waiting in the shadows to pounce and use every opportunity to advance their grievances against the former Barcelona player. The mix of banters and love make football a game for all; hence, the world would certainly witness a lot of that from November.
