Champions of La Liga This summer, Real Madrid hopes to sign former Barcelona trainee Iker Bravo on a season-long loan. According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid will look to sign Iker Bravo on a season-long loan deal during the summer transfer window. Atletico Madrid is interested in the 17-year-old Spanish forward, who previously trained with Barcelona. Iker Bravo began his junior career with Espluguenc but spent the majority of his formative years with Barcelona. While the teenage prodigy rose quickly through the ranks at La Masia, he chose to finish his football education at Bayer Leverkusen in the hopes of gaining a faster path to first-team football. After joining Bayer Leverkusen last summer, the 17-year-old former Barcelona trainee made his first-team debut. Bravo, at 16 years and 298 days, became the youngest ever debutant for Die Werkself. And the Spanish wonderkid’s exploits have earned him a number of admirers, including Real Madrid. The reigning La Liga champions are known for constantly scouring European and international markets for the most promising young players. Such a mindset has aided Real Madrid in making a smooth transition from one generation to the next. This is most noticeable in the midfield, where Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, and Aurelien Tchouameni are ready to replace Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, and Casemiro. The French international has been unstoppable in recent years, transforming himself into a talismanic figure for Real Madrid. However, Benzema is well into his thirties, making Iker Bravo a viable successor. The former Barcelona trainee is not the only talented forward on Real Madrid’s radar; the club is also keeping tabs on Samed Bazdar, Daniel Osorio, and Benjamin Sesko, among others. Real Madrid will also look to sign Bravo on a season-long loan. The offer also includes the option for the Merengues to sign the 17-year-old on a permanent basis. And, with the former Barcelona prospect keen on joining Real Madrid, the Spanish giants could easily beat Atletico Madrid to sign the Bayer Leverkusen whiz.
