The weekend’s Premier League fixtures were dominated by the fiery London derby between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs twice came from behind to win the “Battle of the Bridge,” with a 96th-minute strike from Harry Kane tying the game at 2-2 and ensuring a share of the points. Earlier in the day, West Ham United were defeated 1-0 at the City Ground by Nottingham Forest, leaving David Moyes’ Hammers with zero points from a possible six to begin the season. Most PopularBrentford were the other big story of the weekend, but it was more about the crisis at Manchester United after the Bees beat the Red Devils 4-0 in one of their most famous results in their history. Earlier in the day, Arsenal defeated Leicester City 4-2 in a six-goal thriller, while Fulham drew 0-0 at Wolves. Only the Gunners and Manchester City have a perfect start from their first two games, sitting joint top of the table on six points, while the Cottagers are one of seven other teams who have remained unbeaten despite drawing both of their games thus far. The action comes to a close tonight when Crystal Palace travels to Anfield to face Liverpool on Monday night. Palace lost to Arsenal in the league opener earlier this month, while Liverpool is still looking for their first win after a 2-2 draw at Fulham.
