Antonio Conte is desperate for Tottenham to complete a deal for a Serie A youngster, while a Barcelona star is set to reject a move to Newcastle United…

According to Italian media, Antonio Conte is desperate for Tottenham to sign Roma youngster Nicola Zalewski this summer.
Last season, the 20-year-old made his debut for Jose Mourinho, appearing in 24 games across all competitions, nine of which were starts in Serie A.
Zalewski’s performances earned him five Poland caps, with the Roma midfielder making his debut against San Marino in September last year.
According to the Italian website Calciomercato, Spurs managing director of football Fabio Paratici has been in Italy this week with the intention of’most importantly talking to various clubs about the players leaving Tottenham.’
Bryan Gil has been linked with Sampdoria, and AC Milan are interested in Japhet Tanganga, while Tanguy Ndobele, Harry Winks, Sergio Reguilon, and Lucas Moura need to find new clubs.
He is also there to speak with Roma about Zalewski, whom Tottenham manager Conte describes as “literally crazy.” Conte is so enamored with this boy’s football that he wants Paratici to sign a contract.
Roma has ‘not received any concrete offers’ for Zalewski, who was born in Italy to Polish parents, but PSG has joined Tottenham in the race to sign the starlet. ‘Sampdoria, Cagliari, and other clubs had asked for him on loan in January,’ according to Mourinho, who considers him a ‘irreplaceable player.’

According to reports in Spain, Newcastle United are interested in signing Barcelona attacker Memphis Depay this summer.
The Netherlands international didn’t have the most successful Premier League stint the last time he was there, scoring just seven goals in 53 appearances for Manchester United over an 18-month period. However, numerous English clubs have been linked with a summer move for Depay.
Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester United have all been linked with the forward this summer after he scored 13 goals in 38 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions last season. Depay has only been at Camp Nou for one season, but it appears that he is on his way out.
According to Sport, Depay will leave Barcelona “for sure” this summer because there is no “space” for him. The Catalan giants want €20 million for his services this summer, and Newcastle is willing to pay that sum. But Sport doubts he’ll want to go to Newcastle after turning down Tottenham, who will play in the Champions League next season.
According to the report, Depay wishes to join a club capable of ‘winning the Champions League and, if possible, not from the Premier League, where he had a bad experience.’
