Following the summer arrival of Raheem Sterling, the America international faces stiff competition to force his way into Thomas Tuchel’s starting XI this season, and he also has offers from Atletico Madrid and Newcastle.
Pulisic has largely failed to live up to the reputation he had when he joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund three years ago, with injuries frequently impeding his progress.
Tuchel’s appointment and implementation of a wing-back system has also hampered Pulisic, who has been described as “frustrated” by a lack of recent opportunities.
With the World Cup in November approaching, the 23-year-old wants regular first-team football and has plenty of options.
According to The Athletic, despite the chaos engulfing the Premier League giants following a disastrous start to the new season, Pulisic would be interested in a move to Old Trafford.
Erik ten Hag is desperate to bolster a forward line that has failed to trouble Brighton and Brentford, with Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford both looking out of sorts.

The ongoing uncertainty surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo’s future has made the search for a new striker increasingly chaotic and complicated.
Following a fan backlash, United dropped their interest in Bologna’s veteran striker Marko Arnautovic and have since been exploring the possibility of signing Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata.
Cunha, a current teammate of the former Chelsea striker, has also been linked, but the 23-year-old would prefer to stay in Spain.

Erik ten Hag was also said to be interested in signing Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech, with whom he had a close relationship at Ajax.
Following the arrivals of Tyrell Malacia and Lisandro Martinez earlier this summer, United officials were said to be concerned that their new manager was relying too heavily on players who had thrived in Holland.
Ten Hag is also hoping to sign at least one new central midfielder, after both Scott McTominay and Fred were exposed against mid-table opposition in the last two weeks.
The summer-long pursuit of Frenkie de Jong appears doomed, while a deal for Adrien Rabiot has fallen through due to personal differences.
Real Madrid’s serial Champions League winning star is said to have emerged as a fresh target but the Spanish giants will demand at least 70million for the 30-year-old Brazil international.
