Wales is in talks with FIFA about the terms of their World Cup match tickets.
Rob Page’s men will be playing at the tournament in Qatar later this year after beating Ukraine 1-0 in the play-off final at Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday. They were placed in Group B alongside England, Iran, and the United States of America as a result of their victory. You may read more about it here.
And the Football Association of Wales have confirmed they are awaiting details from the governing body of world football regarding the ticket sale process.

The following was a statement: “Cymru has qualified for the FIFA World Cup for the first time since 1958, and will travel to Qatar in November to face the United States, Iran, and England. The Football Association of Wales is aware that the competition will elicit a lot of excitement among The Red Wall.
“The FAW is awaiting information from FIFA about the ticket sale procedure, which will be relayed to Red Wall members as soon as it becomes available. Please be aware of this important travel advice: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/qatar/qatar-world-cup-2022.”
Fans travelling to Qatar must apply for a Hayya card – a form of fan ID for the tournament. According to a statement on the government’s website: “A Hayya Card is a type of fan ID that will be necessary for entry into the country and attendance at matches during the tournament. On match days, it will also provide free public transportation.
“Regardless of whether you want to attend a World Cup match, you must have an approved Hayya Card if you travel to Qatar between November 1, 2022, and January 23, 2023.”
The Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Al-Rayyan will host all three of Wales’ group stage matches. The following are the group stage fixtures and kick-off times:
USA v Wales (Monday, November 21 – 7pm)
Wales v Iran (Friday, November 25 – 10am)
England vs. Wales (Tuesday, November 29 – 7pm)
